5 small changes with a big impact on our health

Author: Kamelia Buyuklieva, clinical nutritionist

As the new year approaches, many of us set our goal to improve overall
your health. This sounds great, but in reality it can be quite a challenge.
Who should we trust? Where can I find the correct information? What is best for me?
The vast choice and conflicting advice with which we are overwhelmed on social networks,
stores and all around us, can be confusing to us.

Yes, this feeling is probably familiar to you, and it is definitely not motivating, on the contrary.
As a nutritionist, I want to share with you five simple changes to my daily routine that don't follow trends in the world of nutrition, but they have a proven track record and
beneficial effect both on our physical health and the improvement of
overall mood and happiness levels.

1. Start your day with a glass of warm water and the juice of 1 lemon.
This is not only an excellent way to hydrate your body in the morning, but also
improves the body's metabolism, supports the immune system and increases
our concentration during the day.

2. Make physical activity a must in your daily life.
Be creative - dances in front of the mirror and walks in the park also count.
Moving the body isn't just good for our physical health or losing weight - it improves mood, reduces stress and increases the quality of sleep.

3. Take care of your skin.
Exfoliating the skin with a scraper, glove or brush speeds up the removal of
dead skin cells, which improves the blood circulation of the whole body. Taking good care of your face and body is extremely important for delaying the signs of aging.

4. Massages, massages, massages.
Massages are not only a wonderful way to pamper ourselves, but they also have direct benefits for
our health and well being. Our body accepts massages as a type of physical activity:
anti-cellulite massage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage or even home
stretching and massaging our limbs, your body will thank you.

5. Take care of your mental health.
Make time for yourself every day, even if it's just 5 minutes before bed
- regardless if you will meditate, write in a journal or just listen
favorite song.

Don't forget to also make time for family, friends. Do not miss the opportunity to make new acquaintances, as well as visit new establishments, cities, countries!

Which of the described tips will you start implementing in your daily life? Which of one seems like a good fit for your loved one or relative?
